to make you look stupid AGAIN!!! Dude you don't know when to keep your mouth shut. "Theres this thing called a thermostat" LOL!!!!! Oh yeah, well there are these called, lower temp thermostat, upgraded radiator, redline water wetter, neo keep cool, royal purple's purple ice, electric fans, electric water pumps, etc etc etc..but I understand you Fred...if you know how to pump your own gas its too much. I can't belive you have limited engine cooling to what your thermostat wants it to be. Of course theres something called WOT and your engine under load. Your oil is not gonna stay the same extra cool 70c. And I know this is hard for you to understand but water provides a certain safety margin when the engine is shut off. The heat from the engine continues to circulate the coolant running through the bearing housing, so it draws heat away from the bearings. If the car comes with the ability of running water through the turbos I don't see why you would want to run oil alone. For you to get the same benefits you would need to have a BIG oil cooler and a pump circulating oil when the car is off.
